ZA-WORKNOW is a South African job listing website. We publish vacancies, learnerships, internships and practical career advice for people looking for work across the country.
Why We Exist
Finding work in South Africa is genuinely difficult. Vacancies are scattered across company career pages, government circulars, SETA programmes and a handful of large job boards. Many job seekers are spending money they cannot spare on data and transport, chasing adverts that have already closed or were never real.
We try to make that a little easier by gathering openings in one place, writing them up clearly, and being honest about what each role actually involves.
What We Publish
- Job vacancies across sectors and provinces, from entry-level to professional roles
- Learnerships and internships, which are often the most realistic route in for first-time job seekers
- Bursaries and training opportunities
- Career advice on CVs, applications, interviews and avoiding recruitment scams
How We Work
Every listing is compiled from the employer’s own advertisement or another public source, and rewritten so it is clear and easy to act on. We include the requirements, the location and exactly how to apply. Where a detail has not been published, such as salary or a closing date, we say so rather than guessing.
Applications always go directly to the employer. We do not sit between you and the company.
What We Are Not
We want to be clear about our limits, because confusion on this point costs job seekers time and sometimes money:
- We are not a recruitment agency. We do not screen candidates or make hiring decisions.
- We are not the employer for any role listed here.
- We never charge job seekers. Browsing and applying through our listings is free and always will be.
- We do not collect or forward CVs. Your application goes to the employer, not to us.
On Job Scams
Fraudulent adverts target job seekers constantly in South Africa. No legitimate employer asks you to pay for an interview, training, a uniform or a placement fee, and none needs your banking details before you have signed a contract. If you spot a listing on our site that does any of this, report it through our Contact page and we will remove it.
