Description
Position: Learn to Swim Instructor (Non-renewal contract)
Department: Economic Development
Division: Sports & Recreation
Salary: R8 712 per month
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee implementation of water safety programme
Plan, coordinate, manage and implement Learn to Swim and water safety programme.
Supervise field workers-learn to swim instructor trainees.
Provide administration support to the EPEP programme.
Prepare and consolidate monthly reports and process registers for monthly reporting
Applicants are limited to apply for only one category. Applicants MUST NOT be active on the CoE HR System when programme commences.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
South African Citizen
Resident of City of Ekurhuleni – Proof of Residence will be required
Age group 18-35 however applicants over 35 will be considered based on experience.
Grade 11 or Equivalent
Candidates must be in a possession of a valid Learn to Swim Instructor Certificate and it must be attached.
Candidates must be in a possession of a valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate, and it must be attached.
Communication Skills
Candidates will undergo a police clearance.
Candidates with negative police clearance outcomes will not be considered for programme intake.
