Evander Gold Mines is now accepting applications for its Engineering Learnership Programme for 2024/2025, aimed at providing unemployed youth with valuable skills in engineering trades. Located in Mpumalanga, this program offers an entry into the mining and engineering industry with hands-on experience and training.

Available Positions
The learnership program offers positions in various engineering trades, including:
- Fitting
- Boilermaking
- Instrumentation
- Mechanician
- Electrical
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Grade 12 Certificate with passes in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy), Physical Science, and English, or an NCV Level 4 qualification in a relevant trade.
- Fitness: Must have a Certificate of Fitness or be able to obtain one.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Documentation: Certified copies of relevant certificates, a valid ID, and proof of residence (no older than 3 months).
Roles and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Participate in both off-the-job and on-the-job training as part of their learnership.
- Take an active role in their personal development, completing and passing the required trade test.
- Serve as ambassadors for the company and adhere to its code of conduct.
