JOB DESCRIPTION
- To organize the workflow in the service department, between service advisors, foreman and clients.
- Update service client on all service bookings
- Communicate with all Service Staff
- Guarantee workshop opening and closing everyday
- Provide help to the Controller, Foreman, Service Manager, Service
- Receptionist
- Book in vehicles
- Guarantee the promotion and adherence to safety principles

Mercedes-Benz The Glen currently holds a vacancy for a bookings clerk answering to the Service Manager. This position will be suited to a person who has the capacity to maintain high levels of service on an on-going basis and capacity to give incredible client service.

- Automotive industry and service techniques
- Mercedes-Benz products and services
- Customer care and administrative procedures
- Motor industry experience will be a benefit

- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, booking software)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in English; other languages (Afrikaans/Zulu) a plus
- Customer service certification (advantageous)
- Basic comprehension of automotive technology
ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Legitimate driver’s permit (might be required)
- Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
