The Western Cape Community Education and Training College (WC CETC) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for Cleaner positions across its various campuses. We are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments that support quality education and community development.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of a Grade 10 report (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in cleaning, including:
- Washing and scrubbing walls
- Cleaning windows (interior and exterior)
- Sweeping and mopping floors
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties as assigned, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Clean classrooms, hallways, offices, bathrooms, and other campus facilities.
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to health and hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Support the campus team in creating a positive and clean learning environment.

- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit to perform manual tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to cleaning protocols and schedules.
