AECI Much Asphalt is currently seeking two dedicated General Workers to join our team in Alrode, Gauteng. As a General Worker, you will play a vital role in various aspects of our operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in all tasks undertaken.
Job Description:
- Offload raw material tankers into storage tanks, specifically additives.
- Conduct raw material and finished product stock takes through dips.
- Assist in the manufacture of bituminous products.
- Transfer bituminous products to finished product tanks and mix them for the specified period.
- Take representative samples in the manufacturing process line and deliver them to the laboratory.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in the plant and loading bay areas.
- Check vehicle tanks according to the flushing matrix to prevent product contamination.
- Load hauler and distributor trucks with the correct product and quantity as per loading instructions.
- Take representative samples for delivery to clients and maintain records accordingly.
- Fill drums to the correct mass.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric qualification.
- Valid forklift license.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
