JOE MOROLONG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
LEARNERSHIP: TRAFFIC TRAINEES (06 POSITIONS)
Joe Morolong Local Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of Land Reform, is offering an exciting opportunity for youth from various communities to gain valuable skills and training in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement (NQF Level 4). This initiative aims to address the high levels of youth unemployment while providing essential skills for career development.
Programme Overview
The Municipality invites suitably qualified and unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 years to apply for a 12-month learnership in Road Traffic Law Enforcement. Training will be conducted by Joe Morolong Local Municipality Traffic and will equip learners with practical knowledge and experience in traffic law enforcement.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be South African citizens.
- Hold a Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Provide SAPS clearance results with no criminal record.
- Undergo a medical examination and submit proof.
- Be a permanent resident within the jurisdiction of Joe Morolong Local Municipality.
Candidate Responsibilities & Assessments
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Pass a written assessment and interview.
- Pass a physical fitness assessment.
- Submit SAPS clearance results (other forms of criminal clearance will not be accepted).
- Maintain high levels of fitness and undergo regular fitness assessments.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct of Joe Morolong Local Municipality and meet the academy pass requirements aligned with relevant unit standards.
