The Office of the Chief Justice is advertising an Accounting Clerk post at the Eastern Cape Division of the High Court in Makhanda, and the advert states it plainly: Grade 12, no experience required. These High Court jobs appear in DPSA Circular 36 of 2026 and close on 23 October 2026.
The salary band is R237 453 to R279 708 per annum (Level 5). A court post is a genuinely good first job in the public service: it is stable, the work is structured, and it gives you exposure to the justice system from the inside.
