Job Summary:

As a Salesperson, your primary responsibility will be to generate income and maximize profit through effective sales strategies, exceptional customer service, and a deep understanding of the products you represent. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, offer personalized product recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, handling transactions, and contributing to the overall profitability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Generation:

• Perform sales activities to generate new business and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and assist in closing sales.
• Proactively engage with customers to create a positive shopping experience and build customer loyalty.
• Promote and sell a wide range of products, ensuring that customers understand the features and benefits of each.

1. Achieve Sales Targets:

• Consistently work toward meeting and surpassing monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
• Monitor personal sales performance and develop strategies to improve sales outcomes.
• Contribute to the company’s revenue growth through up-selling and cross-selling products.

1. Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide tailored recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach at all times, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

1. Merchandising and Product Presentation:

• Ensure that products are merchandised and displayed attractively to attract customers and stimulate sales.
• Maintain the store’s visual standards, ensuring that stock levels are managed efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with new product releases and product knowledge across all categories.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control, ensuring that products are always available for customers.

1. Transaction and Administration:

• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and in line with company policies.
• Ensure proper documentation of sales, returns, and exchanges.

Minimum Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric).
